Amendments to the Law on “Non-Cash Transactions"

With this notice we inform you that the decision of the Central Bank of Armenia N 48 dated 22.03.2022 “ON CHANGES AND ADDENDUMS TO THE DECISION OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA N 2 DATED JANUARY 13, 2015” established the requirement that without opening a Current Account in the name of user to register in the system with bank account and/or payment card data in the user's name is impossible.

In accordance with the same decision, if a bank account and/or payment card is not linked to the Current Accounts, the Current Accounts opened for Users cannot be replenished in any way, and cash out, transfers or conversions cannot be made from available funds to these accounts.

Based on the above mentioned, we inform you that payment cards attached to settlement accounts that do not meet the requirements established by decision N 48 of March 22, 2022 of the Council of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia are subject to unbind.
